Empire integrations have two separate jobs. Read and Search Empire can look at information in a connected account when you ask it to. For example: - find several meeting summaries or transcripts in Fathom; - search planning information in Notion; - find and read a file in Google Drive. Reading does **not** happen silently in every reply. In a chat, you ask for a source with the **@** button or name it in your message. Connect an Account Open Settings. Choose Integrations. Find the tool you want to use. Press Connect. Sign in to the provider and choose the account, workspace, pages, or permissions you want to share. Approve the connection. Empire returns you to **Settings → Integrations** and shows the account as **Connected**. Each member connects their own account. One customer’s connection cannot be used by another customer. Open **Settings → Integrations**. Find the connected tool. Press **Disconnect**. Confirm the action. Disconnecting removes the saved connection and stops future reads or saves. Connected sources can be used in the **Content Studio** and **Coaching Suite**. Use the @ button Open a Content or Coaching chat. Press the **@** button beside the message box. Choose a connected source. Finish your question and send it. Only sources that are connected and ready to read appear in this menu. Fathom lets Empire find meetings and work with the summaries or transcripts Fathom makes available to the connected account. Connect Fathom Open **Settings → Integrations**. Google Drive uses one Google connection for two abilities: **Save:** create a Google Doc in My Drive or a selected folder. **Read/search:** find and read files when asked in chat. The Integrations page may also show Gmail, Otter.ai, Apify, and Canva. Save one Empire reply Find the Empire reply. Press **Save**. Choose **Notion** or **Google Drive**. Choose the destination and title. Press **Save now**. Save a whole Content or Coaching chat Use **Save chat to Notion** or **Save chat to Drive** at the top of the chat. Every connection belongs to the authenticated Empire member who created it. Provider tokens are stored in Empire’s encrypted server-side vault. They are not returned to the browser. Empire uses fixed, approved provider addresses and a limited list of read tools. Chat reads require an explicit connected-source request. I connected an account, but Empire still says it is not connected Return to **Settings → Integrations**. Refresh the page. Check that the correct provider card says **Connected**. Does Empire continuously sync all of my connected accounts? No. Empire reads a source when it is explicitly requested in chat. The provider itself controls when its source data becomes available. Does connecting Notion or Drive add everything to Empire’s memory? No. Connected-source results are used as evidence for the current task and follow-ups.
