What an integration can do

Empire integrations have two separate jobs.

1. Read and Search

Empire can look at information in a connected account when you ask it to. For example:


- find several meeting summaries or transcripts in Fathom;
- search planning information in Notion;
- find and read a file in Google Drive.


Reading does **not** happen silently in every reply. In a chat, you ask for a source with the **@** button or name it in your message.

2. Save

Empire can create a new page or document when you press a save button. You choose the destination before anything is written.


Current save destinations are:


- Notion: Create a new page in a page or database you selected;
- Google Drive: Create a rich-text Google Doc in My Drive or a folder you selected.


Connecting an account does not let Empire freely change existing pages, documents, posts, meetings, or analytics data.
