Google Drive

Google Drive uses one Google connection for two abilities:

1. **Save:** create a Google Doc in My Drive or a selected folder.
2. **Read/search:** find and read files when asked in chat.

If Google Drive was connected before search was enabled, the card may say **Reconnect to enable search**. Saving can still work while search permission is missing.

Connect or update Google Drive

1. Open **Settings → Integrations**.
2. Press **Connect**, **Reconnect**, or **Update access** on Google Drive.
3. Choose the Google account to use.
4. Review and approve the requested permissions.
5. Return to Empire and check the status.

Read from Google Drive

Ask a clear file question:

• `@google_drive find my latest welcome sequence`
• `@google_drive read the document called Client Notes`
• `@google_drive compare the two files with launch plan in the title`

Google Drive search is read-only. Empire cannot change an existing file through a chat request.

Save to Google Drive

1. Press the Google Drive save button on a reply, chat, Blueprint, or Brand Interview.
2. Enter or edit the Google Doc title.
3. Choose **My Drive** or browse into a folder.
4. Press **Save now**.

Empire creates a rich-text **Google Doc**. Headings, paragraphs, and lists are kept where the source content supports them.

The folder browser lists **folders**, not files. A long list is the folder structure available to the connected Google account. Use the breadcrumbs to move back up, **Search all folders** to find a folder by name, and **Load more** when available.

If the folder browser cannot load, saving to **My Drive** remains available.
