Frequently Asked Questions

Does Empire continuously sync all of my connected accounts?

No. Empire reads a source when it is explicitly requested in chat. The provider itself controls when its source data becomes available.

Does connecting Notion or Drive add everything to Empire’s memory?

No. Connected-source results are used as evidence for the current task and follow-ups. They are not automatically turned into durable memory facts.

Can Empire edit an existing Notion page or Google Doc?

The current save flow creates a new page or Google Doc. Chat search is read-only.

Can I choose the destination every time?

Yes. The save window lets you choose a Notion page/database or Google Drive folder.

Can I connect more than one workspace or account?

Each provider card currently represents the member’s active connection for that provider. To use a different account or workspace, disconnect and reconnect with the desired one.

Why did the provider ask me to approve access again?

The connection may have expired, been revoked, or gained a new feature that needs an additional permission. For example, an older Google Drive connection may need a new read permission before file search works.

Will disconnecting delete my chats or saved documents?

No. It removes future provider access. It does not delete Empire chats, Notion pages, or Google Docs already created.

Who should I contact for help?

Use **Help Centre → Report a Bug** or contact Empire support. Include the provider name, what you asked, what appeared on screen, the approximate time, and your browser/device. Never include a password, authorization code, access token, or client secret.
