Your AI business suite is ready. Here's how to get set up in under 10 minutes.

Step 1 — Watch the Walkthrough Video

Before anything else, watch the full portal walkthrough. It covers everything you need to know and will save you a lot of time. You'll find it at the top of the Help tab inside your portal.

Step 2 — Enter Your Birth Details

On first login you'll be asked for your name, profession, and birth details (date, time, and location). This calculates your Human Design chart and astrology placements. You only need to do this once — they're saved permanently.

Step 3 — Set Up Your Brand Vault

Your Brand Vault is the most important thing to complete. It's where your portal stores your brand voice, offers, and business context. The more you put in here, the better your content and coaching will be.

If you have a Brand Positioning Document from Client Magnet Content™ - upload it here first
If you have a previous brand document that answers the questions in the Brand Vault, you can also upload it and Empire will extract it for you if you choose YES in the pop up.
The AI will extract your brand data automatically — just click Yes when it asks
If you don't have a document, go through the Brand Interview section by section
Upload anything to do with your offers, messaging or core areas of your business you'd like remembered - but choose NO when asked to populate your brand interview. This will stay as core memo

How to Update or Downgrade Your Subscription

Accessing your subscription settings:

Open Empire by Design
Tap the Account button (top-right of the portal, or in the sidebar menu)
This opens the Account & Billing screen Your current plan is shown at the top with a coloured badge (Lite, Unlimited, or Founding Member).

Upgrading Your Plan

From Lite Monthly ($29/mo) — you'll see three upgrade options:

Lite Yearly — $310/yr (save $38/yr)
Unlimited Monthly — $49/mo
Unlimited Yearly — $520/yr (save $68/yr)

From Lite Yearly ($310/yr):

Unlimited Yearly — $520/yr

From Unlimited Monthly ($49/mo):

Unlimited Yearly — $520/yr

Tap the plan you'd like and you'll be taken to the Stripe billing portal. Any remaining time on your current plan is prorated — you'll only pay the difference.

Downgrading Your Plan

From Unlimited Monthly ($49/mo):

Downgrade to Lite Monthly ($29/mo) or Lite Yearly ($310/yr) From Unlimited Yearly ($520/yr):
Downgrade to Lite Yearly ($310/yr)

When you downgrade, your Unlimited access continues until the end of your current billing period. After that, you'll move to the Lite plan with daily usage limits. What you keep when downgrading: Your Brand Profile, Memory, uploaded documents, and all saved chats are preserved. Nothing is deleted.

Understanding Your Usage Allowance

How Usage Works

Usage is measured in AI tokens — the amount of text the AI reads and writes. Every message you send and every response uses tokens. Longer responses use more tokens than short ones.

What Has a Limit

Content tab — counted toward your daily and monthly allowance
Coaching tab — counted toward your daily and monthly allowance

What Is Completely Unlimited

Blueprint tab — always unlimited
Brand Interview — always unlimited
Brand Vault uploads and document extraction — always unlimited
Design Dashboard tooltips — always unlimited
Memory summaries and background tasks — always unlimited

Lite Plan Daily Allowance

The Lite plan includes a generous daily token allowance that resets at midnight UTC. The usage meter in your portal sidebar shows your current usage. Short messages use barely any allowance — big content generation requests use more. Most members never hit the limit in a normal session.

Unlimited Plan

The Unlimited plan has no daily cap. Create as much as you want, back to back — full content calendars, email sequences, coaching sessions, all in the same day.

If You Hit Your Limit

Your typed message is automatically saved in the input box so you don't lose it. Your Blueprint, Brand Vault, and Design Dashboard remain fully accessible. Your allowance resets at midnight UTC.

The Brand Vault — Everything You Need to Know

What Is the Brand Vault?

The Brand Vault is your portal's long-term memory. It stores your brand profile (21 fields), uploaded documents, and reference files. Every content and coaching session draws from this automatically.

Brand Profile vs Uploaded Documents — What's the Difference?

Think of it in two layers:

Brand Profile — the 21 core fields (mission, voice, offers, dream client etc). This is how Empire gets to know you, your audience, your brand and your voice. Fill these in through the Brand Interview or by uploading a brand doc (if you have something similar or have previously done this via Client Magnet Content).
Uploaded Documents — full documents like sales pages, testimonials, offer decks. These are your contextual memory. They're referenced when relevant but don't live in the brand profile fields.

How to Upload a Document to the Brand Vault

Click the Brand Vault button in the sidebar on desktop and "Vault" on mobile.
Click "Upload More Docs"
Select your file — PDF, DOCX, TXT, CSV, MD, RTF supported
When asked 'Do you want me to extract brand profile data?' — click YES if it's a brand doc and you want it to fill in your brand interview. NO if it's a reference document (like an offer doc or testimonials) as it will stay as core memory but not as fields in your brand interview.

File Size Limits

Images: 10MB — JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP (in-chat only, not Brand Vault)
PDFs and DOCX: 5MB
Documents (TXT, CSV, MD, RTF): 2MB

Troubleshooting: Login Issues

If you're having trouble logging in, try working through the checklist below before contacting support. Most login issues can be resolved in just a few steps.

Login Troubleshooting Checklist:

Verify you are using the exact email address you purchased with — even small differences like a typo, extra space, or capitalization mismatch can cause an "Access Not Active" error.
Try logging in using a different browser (e.g., switch from Chrome to Firefox, or try an incognito/private window).
Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again.
Perform a hard refresh: Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows or Cmd+Shift+R on Mac.
If you're stuck in a loading loop, click the logout button in the top right corner, then log back in. If you can't reach the logout button, clear your browser data for app.empirebydesign.ai and try again.
Make sure your internet connection is stable and that no VPN or firewall is blocking the site.

Common Error Messages:

"Access Not Active" — This means the email you're logging in with doesn't exactly match what's in our system. Double-check your purchase email for typos, extra spaces, or capitalization differences.
Button not responding after login — Perform a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac). If that doesn't work, clear your browser cache and try again.
Stuck in a loading loop — Log out using the button in the top right, then log back in. If you can't ac

Where you create content using Client Magnet Content™ frameworks. Type 'menu' at any time to see all content types: hooks, captions, carousels, email sequences, sales pages, 30-day content calendars, and more.

Coaching Suite

Your strategic business coach. Use this for offer creation, launch planning, messaging strategy, business pivots, and any strategic decisions. The coaching tab builds memory over time — the more you use it, the better it knows your business.

Blueprint Tab

Your 7 Figure Business Blueprint lives here. Generate it once and refer back to it. You can also deep-dive into your Human Design and astrology and how they apply to your business strategy.

Brand Vault

Your permanent document library. Everything you upload here is stored and referenced by the AI across all tabs. Upload brand documents, sales pages, testimonials, offer docs, and anything else you want the AI to know permanently.

How the Tabs Talk to Each Other

All three tabs share context. If you discuss a new offer in Coaching, the Content tab already knows about it. You never need to repeat information across tabs.
