# Understand the connection status





| **Status** | **Meaning** | **What to do** |
| **Connected** | The account is ready for the permissions currently granted. | Start using it. |
| **Ready to connect** | Empire is configured, but this member has not connected an account. | Press **Connect**. |
| **Waiting for connection** | A connection was started but not completed. | Finish the provider screen, or start again. |
| **Needs attention** | The connection expired, was revoked, or returned an error. | Reconnect the account. |
| **Reconnect to enable search** | Google Drive can save, but it does not yet have permission to search files. | Press **Reconnect** or **Update access** and approve the new read permission. |
| **Setup required** | The provider is not configured in this Empire environment. | Contact support. |

After connecting, refresh the Integrations page if the status does not change straight away.
